Photography

I have increasingly turned to monochromatic imagery, drawn to the way the absence of colour reshapes atmosphere and encourages a more attentive reading of form, texture, and light. As my practice has expanded into sculpture, photography has taken on an additional role: a quiet act of observation and record-keeping, tracing the riverbanks and coastal margins where I encounter the metal and driftwood that later reappear within the sculptural work.
