Ceramics

Hand-built ceramics are a quiet conversation between hand, clay and intention. My work is made without the wheel, shaped instead through pinching, coiling and slab-building. Each piece records a sequence of decisions — the pressure of a thumb, the join of a coil, the pace of drying — so no two objects are the same, and each carries subtle irregularities that I regard as essential.

I focus on form, texture and surface treatment. Glazes are chosen to enhance rather than dominate the clay body.
