My wall works and geometric forms are purely decorative and more regular and structured than other areas of my practice. In contrast to my other ceramic work, I use brush-on and dipping glazes to achieve bold, saturated colour. These pieces most directly reflect my engineering background, with a strong emphasis on construction, joins, and assembly. Slipped and scored connections deliberately echo welded metal, reinforcing the dialogue between ceramic and industrial processes.
